Why who looks after your accounts matters just as much as what they do.
I'm the founder and director of JC Accountancy Ltd, and I've been in accountancy for over 20 years. I qualified with the ACCA and was awarded Fellow status (FCCA) in 2021 — the highest level of membership, recognising sustained experience, ethics and professional development.
I've worked in large practices, small practices, and in industry. I've seen how accountancy firms work from the inside, and I know what frustrates clients — being passed between staff, waiting days for a reply, and feeling like your business doesn't matter.
That's exactly why I set up on my own.
Not a junior. Not a call handler. The person who knows your numbers inside out and actually cares about your business.
I specialise in CIS and construction clients, but I work with businesses of all sizes and sectors — from beauty salons to landlords, sole traders to limited companies. If you need someone who makes accounting feel simple, we'll get on well.
Here's what's different — and why my clients stick around.
You deal with me — always. No being passed around, no explaining your situation twice. I know your business because I'm the one looking after it.
I don't hide behind jargon. If something affects your business, I'll explain it in a way that actually makes sense — and tell you what to do about it.
I know how frustrating it is to wait days for a reply. I aim to respond within 24 hours, and I'm always available by email or phone during working hours.
I set up JC Accountancy because I believe every business deserves an accountant who actually cares — someone who explains things properly, responds quickly, and treats your business like it matters. Because it does.
